Migi Jr.

Miguel and I are expecting a baby in November! Despite the exhaustion and "gross" feeling, it's still quite surreal. Friday, we got to hear the heartbeat and see the baby. It made it more real than just a positive home test.

An old acquaintance who is pregnant, updates her blog weekly about the baby. I thought that would be a fun way for me to track my thoughts, feelings and changes through the coming months. If you're interested, Fridays are our official "week" mark, so look for updates then.

Week 8: the baby is the size of a kidney bean and still has the remnants of a tail. I am exhausted and feeling "gross" but have managed a few gym trips and walks. I have craved pizza and don't much care for ice cream (it's a sad, sad day in the Barowski house!).

Congrats! That is so exciting!

If I'm counting 9 months correctly, you would have gotten pregnant right about the time you posted about not planning to be DINK's forever. I guess God had similar plans!

OH, Libby! How exciting :) I will tell you that I hated being pregnant with the exception of a few weeks here and there. Hopefully you will enjoy it more than I did :) I'm so happy for you guys! Advice for the stage you are in-go to motherhood maternity and buy the "bella band". You put it right over your regular clothes and leave them unzipped...until you fit into maternity! Yea :) So happy! Love, Laura
p.s. Being a mommy is the best :)

woowoo! how exciting! you will notice that if you subscribe to babycenter.com, they will compare your child to a fruit or vegetable (in terms of size) right up to delivery. i went from a kumquat to a lemon, to a lime, to an avocado... and we are now at bell pepper. it's a weekly laugh, that's for sure.
congratulations!
