At Home in PA

I never thought that Pennsylvania (did I spell it right??!) would be home. And it still doesn't quite feel like home. But we've done our best to make it "us" but still have miles to go. Since most of you haven't been up to visit, and you're always welcome to, I thought I'd post some pictures.
269 North Front Street

Second floor sunroom (yet to be furnished, but newly painted)

The kitchen-painted, but needs backsplash

Livingroom, finished, sigh

Your house is so colorful, all warm tones. It must be nice to have freshly painted walls. For the decorum illiterate like me, what's a backsplash? I think I have an idea, but am not sure.

I am always game for a trip to PA. We'd love to visit if your door is open! :)

Your house is beautiful. I am glad you are getting settled. Would love to come see it in person. I am not a blogger but love to read everyone elses. So I look forward to reading yours.

I love the colors! They look great and make everything so cozy. I love that blue for your living room and the area rug is groovy. Did you get new furniture? Looking at these pictures make me so crazy to paint my house! But I must be patient and wait for the windows first! :)

Bri, a backsplash is the tiles that are put in the kitchen behind the stove/sink to "catch grease" but I just think it looks great! =) we had one at the old house and I really miss it!

Donna and Bri, the door is ALWAYS open. So I"ll grab you guys at church and we'll set up a time. OR if you're ever in the mood for a drive, just give a call, spur of the moment!
