happy

Upon signing into Skype this morning and searching for my father, this is what I found:

"Make sure your contact's name is spelt correctly."

My father may not be on Skype, but I bet if he were his name would be SPELLED correctly. Oh happy day! Nothing brings a smile to my face like a grammatical error first thing in the morning!

Nerd! I'm pretty sure that both spellings are correct, though "spelt" is more common in the UK. It is also a tasty kind of wheat. :)

haha, Shanny, I knew that YOU would be the one to comment on it's correctness. I hesitated to even post ;-)

Ah Libby, you crack me up. I definitely would've thought the same thing!

I was going to say that I don't think Skype is an American program and that 'spelt' is probably correct in Europe, but your friend beat me to it. :)

All in fun, if you're talking grammar, I know for certain that "it's" (as you used above) has no apostrophe.
