Serious CONS of being pregnant:
1. My feet have grown more than 1/2 size. Even my flipflops are getting too small.
2. Inability to sleep at night. I am a stomach sleeper; breaking a 28 year old habit is nearly impossible!
#1 does have a PRO. I've bought several new pairs of shoes in the last few weeks! I LOVE shoe shopping, and I haven't purchased new shoes in years. Literally.
Saturday was an insanely busy day. I only lasted three and a half hours at our community yard sale. It got so hot by 10am that I was ready to call it quits. In that time, I managed to sell $60 worth of junk. There are some serious suckers in this world! ha.
Saturday evening, ten girls went downtown to celebrate my sister-in-laws' birthday. We surprised her at our house, were escorted downtown in a limo, and then had dinner at Pazo's (review to come later). The evening was a great time together, laughing, sharing stories, and getting to know ladies that I'd only met in passing. All of the ladies, but one, either have numerous kids or were pregnant. At one point, the limo ride conversation turned to epidurals, labor, and bladder control (lack there of) after giving birth. We are deep in discussion when the limo driver yells back "TMI" and promptly shuts the window between us and him. We died laughing. Here are some shots from our evening.

Looks like a FUN time! Which reminds me . . . I need to plan a girl's night out myself. It's been too long. I can't even remember when! It's just occurred to me that I actually CAN go on a girl's night now because I'm no longer nursing the boys in the evening now, yay!
Pregnancy, growing feet, needing a cane... all good reasons to buy new shoes!!!! BTW, I am a stomach sleeper too -- had difficulty adjusting when I was pregnant. Went back to stomach-sleeping after babies -- wake up now with deep wrinkles in my face that stay there for 1/2 of the day -- learn to enjoy sleeping on your back!!! Melodye
Looks like a blast! I'm with you on the stomach sleeping - it's killing me! Here's a tip that works sometimes - build yourself up with pillows under your hips and your chest and head, with just a spot under your stomach - I tried it last week when I couldn't fall asleep at 5am, and didn't move until 9:30!
I sleep every which way, even on my back for short periods...my legs sometimes go numb (even when I'm not pregnant) if I'm on my sides too long. Lovely. So my poor husband has gotten used to my tossing and turning.
Sign that your mattress needs replaced: you can sleep on your stomach until nearly 5 months pregnant because there's a dip to put your belly into!!! (Sniffle, sniffle--hasn't worked so well for me this week. I may just be grieving alittle.)
Winksta is apparently my hubby's username...he's so gangsta! BAH HA HA!
LOVE that I KNOW who the ONE non-preggers/child owning person is. Poor Monica, all left out.... :( It's okay, b/c she can come hang with me!
I love Pazo. I'm glad you had fun. Looks great!
